Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! I do enjoy cheesy holidays, sometimes it does help us to stop and think and do something special for those we love and appreciate. Kyle has talked about how he thinks it would be cool to have a pocket watch so I got him a pocket watch with a golfer on it and then some snacks with cheesy sayings. I've been wanting a cool old milk jug forever to put in our kitchen and Kyle got me that with some flowers and some chocolate :-) I love when he just gets me a bundle of flowers so then I can arrange them myself! I did work at the shop a couple days this week for fun but it was nice  not having to work crazy hours all week and be exhausted a the end and I could actually enjoy the holiday with Kyle. Valentines Day was on a Saturday this year and knew that it would just be even more ridiculous to go out to eat then it already is so we went out to eat earlier that week to Texas Road House and then went out for coldstone. On valentines day we went to a friends house where we all brought some appetizers and played games, Kyle and I made mini deep dish pizzas and they turned out really good! It was a fun night.

Kyle passed 1st Test

In order for Kyle to be a certified CPA he has to pass 4 tests and they aren't easy! He passed his first one in February!! I was pretty excited for him so I had something delivered to him at work.

Rosanne and Rafa were are so excited for us to have a baby they saw this cute golf outfit and sent it to us! It sure made our day! And of course Kyle just loved it!

Kyle and I are going to try to start learning to play the Guitar, we thought it would be something fun we could learn together.

Our First Ultrasound!

 On January 6 got our first ultrasound! I was 14 weeks, usually they do the first one sooner but we were switching insurances and so we had to push it out a few weeks which was really hard at first because I really wanted to see this little baby but it worked out great because they were able to tell us already that we were having a little boy!!! Everyone was telling us that they probably wouldn't tell us what were having but our ultrasound technician was great and had no problem telling us what were having. We hadn't made an official announcement yet because I wanted to get through our first ultrasound so it was kind of fun to be able to tell people we were expecting and that we knew we were having little boy!

Rachel's Baby Shower

Kyle's mom, Kelsey and I put on a baby shower for Rachel while she was here for Christmas with Kyle's mom's family since we wouldn't see her again before the baby comes. We did a children's book theme. She got some fun books and other gifts and we all had a good time and can't wait to meet their little girl!
