BSU Game!

Kyle's dad  was able to get us some tickets to one of the BSU games so we went to that with Kyle's parents and had a lot of fun! It was an evening game and the weather was just perfect!

Our First House!!

Here it is! This is the house that Kyle and I bought at the end of August! It is a 3 bedroom plus and office room and is almost 1800 sq feet. We just absolutely love it! It is in Kuna which is a town just outside of Boise.
Here is our front room...

Another view of the front room plus the entry way, the stairway to the left leads to the master bedroom that is upstairs.

A view from the front door as you walk in.

The kitchen

The hallway that leads to all the bedrooms except the master.
The garage came with these awesome shelves and if you look closely you can see the part we have fenced off for the dogs.
We have a spare bedroom with a king size bed for anyone who wants to come and visit :-)
This is the master bathroom and that is the hutch kyle got me for our new bathroom :-)
We each get our own sink :-)

Our HUGE master closet! It is long and very large! (it continues on the other side of the picture as well)

The dogs don't get to sleep in bed with us but they do sleep in our room.
The house has a great back yard and a nice deck that we hope to someday add a few finishing touches too. We really love our house and the area and feel very fortunate to have this home to live in! Visitors are welcome anytime!! :-)

Bauer & Bella!

After having Bauer for about 3 months we decided we wanted to get another dog so he could have a companion during the day since we both work so we started looking on craigslist and it did not take us long to find our Bella! She is a year and half and her previous owners just did not have enough time for her but they did take the time to train her and she came very well trained and her and Bauer are just the best of friends now!

Bella is quite the snuggle bug and loves to snuggle up next to Bauer (and us) but they just play and play during the day and usually at night they are so tired they are pretty calm and just hang out with us.

They really are quite the match!!

Staci's Marathon!!

On Oct 7 I completed my first marathon with my good friend and running buddy Shelley! The marathon we decided to do was in Portland, or because it is supposed to be an easy one for first timers. We drove over there Saturday morning and first thing we did was pick up our race information. After that we found our hotel and got everything set our for the race. Once Shelley and I were ready Kyle found us an Italian restaurant for dinner and it was delicious! After that it was back home and to bed for we had a big day to get rested for!

The picture turned out a little blurry, but there is kyle and I and Shelley, mike and Shelley's dad who was able to come with us.

Our morning started at about 430 when we got up to start getting hydrated. Then we ate breakfast and headed down to the race!

T

There is my faithful husband ready to cheer me on from the start!!

Here is Shelley and me, ready to run!! :-)
There are so many runners that we are split into different groups and start at different times so here we are heading to the starting line for our turn to start!

There were certain parts of the race where spectators could not view us so after mile 5 we didn't get to see our husbands till about mile 20 and it was sure fun to see them but it was only for about 1 second because we had to keep running!
Here we are at the end with our medals!! We made it all in one piece and feeling pretty great!( a little tired :-) We were very fortunate that we finished with no body or muscle complications!

Me with my proud husband!
Afterwards I took a nice hot shower and a nice long nap while kyle enjoyed a little bit of golfing and by the time he got back I was feeling pretty good an we out and got some pizza!
The following morning kyle took me to a park that had some beautiful and very tall trees and we walked around the park for a few minutes.

After that we went to downtown Portland to try some voodoo doughnuts and they were pretty yummy.
After that our little adventure was over and we had to head back home, we sure had a lot of fun and I am grateful to my friend Shelley for training for this marathon together and for my husband and his support for helping me to finish a marathon!

2nd Ward Family Renion

Our 2nd Ward Family reunion this year was in Island Park. The first day started off going up to Yellowstone and we had a great start to our adventure there because only about ten mins after getting there we were greeted by a Buffalo walking down the road! It  passed right in front of Kevin's car and walked along the side of the road
 He was very close!
We also saw a heard of elk that were very close to the road.
Kyle & me at one of the falls there.
 Laura and me
Bauer did a great job being in the car so much, he just pretty much slept whenever we got into the car, had a few weird positions but as long as he was comfortable and sleeping we didn't care!
We stayed in a really nice cabin that fit everyone and we had a lot of fun at night playing games and sitting by the camp fire.
We saw a moose as we were taking our trash to the dump.
The funnest game we played was human jenga. The kids got to do the first round and then the adults got to do it as it got a little more dangerous.
Everyone participated and we got that jenga tower pretty high!!

We played two games of it and it happened to be our luck that Kyle made it fall the first time and I did the second time!
Lisa did a great job as always getting us a beautiful family picture!
She even got one with Bauer looking at the camera!
This was a perfect candid shot! I love all the boys faces!
Kevin & Becky hosted the reunion this year and they did a wonderful job and we all had so much fun! Thanks guys!
