Brazilian Feast

Our Friends, Suzy and Caleb Lakey had us over for a Brazilian Feast one Sunday. Caleb served his mission in Brazil as well as so they had us over for some Brazilian food, it was really good and Kyle really enjoyed the food and memories it brought back.

Silver City 4 Wheeling Trip

Back in September Kyle's parents, Kyle and me and the dogs took a 4 wheeler ride to the place called silver city. It is kind of a ghost town but they do have a small restaurant there that had really good burgers! The funny part about the trip was though the bench I sat on outside the restaurant had a license place from Illinois and a plate border that said Moline! So that was kinda fun. Didn't get to see who the people were or talk to them but it sure is a small world sometimes.

Halloween

This year for Halloween our friends, the Lakey's, invited us over for a Halloween party and had a pumpkin carving contest and treats, it was pretty fun. Kyle's was the spider web and mine was the spooky tree.  For actual Halloween however we went to Utah and spend the weekend with my family. Didn't get too many pictures but got a few, love the pictures of Sadie chillin with Kyle. It was nice to see my parents, Rosanne and her family and Laura and Josh and just enjoy time together. It's always fun to see Zoey as she gets so excited when we come visit. We also went to Kyle's favorite Mexican Restaurant in SLC.

Camping Trip

Kyle and I love to camp in the fall, we love the cool weather and looking at the fall leaves in the mountains! This was our last camping trip this year, we went to a place we hadn't camped before, we took a risk and just drove around till we found a good camping stop, we were worried at first because we didn't see any good ones for a while but then we found a really great spot! We went on a couple rides, the first ride we went on we got a little wet and so we hurried back to camp to dry off in the Truck which after a couple minutes the heater stopped working and was only blowing cold air but by that time the rain had mostly stopped so we got a fire going and were able to warm up. The dogs had a great time exploring and digging around. We saw some beautiful fall color and just really enjoyed the peaceful weekend.

Jim Gaffigan Show

On Oct 3, 2014 Kyle and I went to a Jim Gaffigan Show, he is a comedian that we really like and we sure had fun and had lots of good laughs!
