Rachel's Bridal Shower!

Rachel's cousin, Sarah, hosted a wonderful Bridal Shower for Rachel. She went all out on the food and decorations!

Just about all the food was heart shaped!

We played lots of fun games and then had a lot of fun opening the variety of presents! ;-)

One of Rachel's old roommates and good friend came over from Idaho Falls, in the picture below is her, Ashley, Rachel, Aunt Sue and me.

Kelsey was also able to make it over for the shower!

Valentines Day!

This year I took advantage of my delivery drivers at the flower shop I work at and had them deliver a valentines goodies basket to Kyle at work! He was quite embarrassed but thought it was fun.

Kyle also took advantage of my work place and had them make me a beautiful arrangement and surprised me with it when I got home from my long week!

Later that weekend we made it out to a Valentines day dinner with Kyle's parents at Rockies Diner, it was very yummy!

Happy Valentines day to my sweet husband! Love you lots!

Grandma's 80th Surprise Birthday Party!

Kyle's grandma on his mother's side turned 80 this year so we had a surprise birthday party for her and theme was 80 Is Sweet!

Grandma was VERY surprised!

We set up a table of all the many different things that grandma loves to do: Gardening, Painting, Canning, Cooking, Sewing, Knitting, Genealogy, etc. We also had a small program where her kids talked about stories and memories from the past along with the grand kids and kids doing some musical numbers.

We displayed some of her amazing art work!

We are sure grateful for Kyle's grandma and for the wonderful person she is and for the many talents and words of wisdom that she has shared with us!

Making Doughnuts!

Kyle and I thought we would try our new deep fat fryer and make some doughnuts! Kyle found a recipe online and we gave it a shot!

We also made our own icing!

Not something we will want to cook TOO often but man they turned out really good!
