Grandma Hopkins Gets Married!

About a month ago in May, Kyle's Grandma Hopkins got remarried so Kelsey, Taylor, Rachel & Ben all came over for the wedding. The first few pictures are us at the reception.

After the reception we all drove out to the desert and went shooting. We all sure had a lot of fun trying to hit clay pigeons and paper targets. Above is mom with a gun and attitude!

The boys had fun using the shot guns trying to hit clay pigeons. Us girls shot the shot gun once and that was enough for us!

Back at the beginning of May, Kyle and I went to visit some of my family in Utah. They requested that Kyle & I make our famous pizza so we did that of course! We even made our first Vegan Pizza for Rosanne and Rafa which is the one shown above.

We had some beautiful weather while we were there and enjoyed some time outside.

With it being the week before Mother's day, I gave my mom her present early.

My First Half Marathon!!

My friend at work was kind enough to invite me to do a half marathon with her, however this wasn't just a normal half marathon it is considered one of the toughest in the northwest! It is 8.5 miles up a mountain and 4.5 downhill - starts at elevation 2725 and the summit is 4797 and finishes at 3065. We spent about 2 1/2 months training together and were super excited for the race and were so excited when we picked up our packets that we had to go to dinner to celebrate!

Almost there...

Victory! This year was one of the hottest years for this race so that affected our time some but we finished strong and are going to begin training for a full marathon here shortly!!

Deep Dish Pizza!

Kyle and I are still enjoying making the perfect pizza and Kyle thought it would be fun to try a deep dish pizza and it sure was a great idea because it is delicious!

Basically you put the cheese in first and then the sauce and toppings.

Perfect crust!! Come and see us and we will make it for you! ;-)

My 24th Birthday

I was able to celebrate my 24th birthday this year with Kyle, his parents and Ben and Rachel. We started the night with going out to dinner at Chili's (my favorite restaurant!)

After bowling we went back home and had Cake and Ice Cream - Kyle did an awesome job and baked and decorated a beautiful cake for me!!

At the flower shop I work at they always do a birthday luncheon and we spoil each other with gifts and so that was really nice and I also got nice cards and messages from friends and family. Thanks to everyone for helping make my birthday a special day!

Visit with Kevin & Becky & kids

After Rachel's wedding we spent a night at Kevin's house and had a lot of fun visiting with them and playing with the kids! We sure miss them and the kids a bunch and were happy that they still remembered us and wanted to play with us! Above is Maddy and me.

Rachel & Ben's Wedding!

On March 24th Kyle's little sister Rachel got married in the Rexburg Idaho Temple! The weather was gorgeous! (especially for it being rexburg in march!!) The ceremony was beautiful and the couple couldn't have looked happier! This picture below is them coming out of the temple officially married!
